She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arvle and Rosa Mae Pyatt (Bowen); her husband Medwick Burl Sebastian; and her siblings, James "Sonny" Pyatt (Freda), Ruby Warren (Elvis), Rosemarie Stacy and David R. Pyatt.

She is survived by: her son Kerry Pyatt (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jocelyn Rose Pyatt and Kerry William Pyatt, Jr.; and her sister Helen Curtis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
