Sammye Koonce Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sammye Koonce of Park Hills, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Koonce and Bessie Koonce (Pace). She is survived by: her sister Patsy Barton; her nieces, Becky Wilfong (Victor) and Abby Barton (Gene Osborne); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan Orsburn (Korey Byers), Michael Tucker, Payton Wilfong, Jeff Wilfong (Amy), Austin Wilfong (Madelyn), Garrett Wilfong (Ashley), Allie McCartney (Matthew), Joshua Barton and Jacob Barton. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.

Memorials may be directed in honor of Sammye's memory to the First Baptist Church in Desloge.
