He was predeceased by: his sister Marcia Cowell. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cowell (Martin); his children, Tim Cowell (Tonia), Michael Cowell and Richard Cowell Jr.; his wife Jennifer; his granddaughter Tiffany Cowell; his brother Robert Cowell (Karen); and also, Chastity Pierce, David Cowell (Carrie), Brandi Cowell, Chris, Dere and Jack. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
