He is survived by: his wife Pat Oder (Boyer); his children, Paula Tiefenauer (Mike) and Landon Oder (Jackie); his stepchildren, James MacRoberts (Kathy) and Julie Erard; his brother Bob Oder (Norma); and his sister-in-law Judi Sumpter. He is also survived by grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
