He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Junior Abney and Betty Jean Mitchell; and his brothers, Charles Lonnie Abney, John Abney and Mark Abney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Maynard Abney (Julie Knickmeyer), Marty Abney Sr., James Abney and Pat Abney; his niece Misty; and his great-niece Angelica. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
