He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleatus Heaps and Margaret Heaps (Hardy); and his siblings, Larry Heaps, Delmar Heaps, Sandy Benscoter and Sharon Lee Heaps.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonia Rodriguez, Tricia Boyer, Carrie Walker (Donald) and Amanda Heaps (Jesse Melton); his grandchildren, Justin Heaps, Daniel, Jonathan, Cody Rodriguez, Nathan, Brandon Boyer, Emily Boyer, Joshua Myers, Pacey Heaps and Myles Melton; and his brother Bill Heaps. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
