He was predeceased by: his siblings, Durwood Halter, Dale Halter, Rena McFarland, Dorothy Abbott and Lela Price.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Halter (Tyree); his children, Judy Diane Mull (David), Jerry Dale Halter (Bobbie Sue), Dana Kay Murphy (Jake) and Kristi Renee Hale (Luke); and his siblings, Bernice Pettus and Willa Arnold.
