He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Henry and Anna Breyfogle; his wife Sharyn; his children, Vincent Lee Breyfogle Jr. and Pennie Breyfogle; his sister Beverly Breyfogle (Anderson); and his grandson Vincent Lee Breyfogle III. He was also cherished by niece, two nephews and numerous cousins.

Contributions of monetary donations may be given in his honor for all Missouri Veterans who are unable to afford burial arrangements outside of the final resting spot allowed to all veterans to the Mexico Veterans Home located at 1 Veterans Drive, Mexico Missouri 65265.
