He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loren Wheelan and Mabel Clem Wheelan; his daughter Brenda Bragg (David); his daughter-in-law Kelly Wheelan (Doug); his grandchildren, Christina Viers (Michael), Kurtis Bragg (Angie), Aaron Bragg (Brandi), Kiel Bragg (Chelsea), Anthony Bragg, Chance Wheelan (Sheyenne), Abbie Hancock (Briar), Madison Wheelan and Delaney Wheelan (Thirteen); his great grandchildren, Chavese Viers (Cami), Titan Viers (Elisia), Haylie Bragg, Camden Bragg, Bailee Bragg, Weston Bragg, Loryn Bragg, Caleb Bragg, Maisie Bragg, Porter Hancock, Jax, Ivy Klamert and Weston Liam Bragg; his siblings-in-law, Jim Livesay (Jane), Doris Davis and Carol Ridiner; his son Doug Wheelan; and his wife Ida Jean. He was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Regional Missouri Bank for Jessica DeWeese's battle with cancer or Monroe County Cancer Supporters.
