With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Reba Hayhurst of Paris, Missouri, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence William and Martha Payne (Ball); her husband Owen "O. W." Hayhurst; her uncle Clarence Kouns; and her aunt Pauline Kouns.
She is survived by: her children, John Hayhurst (Tammy) of Madison, David Hayhurst (Straw) of Paris, Tommy Hayhurst of Hannibal and Janet Armontrout (Jeff) of Centralia, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Hilary Crum (Richard), Talley Smith (Sam), Dalton Armontrout (Bethany), Mike Fountain (Kara), Justin Fountain (Jessica), Steven Hayhurst (Kaylee) and Benjamin Hayhurst (Caleigh). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Paris United Methodist Church or the Paris Senior Center.
