He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Vance and Frances Young Vance Faxon; and his siblings, Harry Bruce Vance, Victor "LeRoy" Vance and Martha A. Wiseman.
He is survived by: his son Michael W. Vance (Angela) of Curryville Mo; his half-brother Allen Vance of Hannibal Mo; his sister Lennis Raney of Palmyra Mo; his half-sister Cindy Benjamin Hannibal Mo (Rod); his grandchildren, Carrie Lyn Vance and Adam Michael Vance; and his stepgrandsons, Scott Emerick and Jacob Sutton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra.
