We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2022, at the age of 68, Stephen L. Appel of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick and Mary Ellis Appel. He is survived by: his daughters, Candance Appel (Gary Anduss), Lora Vail (Kyle) and Jennifer Biffle (Charles); his sisters, Tracy Moss (Al) and Marla Kiel (Russell); and his grandchildren, Megan Anduss, Caelyn Anduss, Taylor Vail, Kelsey Vail, Hayden Doyle (Sarah) and Bailey Doyle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
