With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Lumpe Nix of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Lincoln, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. Lumpe and Arvilla Ruth Bell Lumpe; and her sister Sharon Oakley. She is survived by: her husband Jim D. Nix; her children, Cammie Foster (Raymond) of Palmyra, MO, Daniel C. Nix of Lebanon, OH, David Nix (Tammy) of Palmyra, MO and Darin J. Nix of Lumberton, TX; her grandchildren, Garrett Foster (Kate) of St. Peters, MO, Tanner Nix of Palmyra, MO, Savannah Easter (Eric) of Indianapolis, IN, Elizabeth Bennorth (Alex) of Franklin, TN, Andrew Nix of Lebanon, OH and Alan Nix of Franklin, TN; her children, Hugo, Greta, Heidi, Klaus Foster, Owen Bennorth and Beckham Easter; and her grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Trent, Courtney, Haylee, Abbey and Kate. She is also survived by friend, wife, mom, and grandmother, who always put her family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
