He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Mewhorter of Palmyra; his stepchildren, Lori Gough (Patrick), Gail Gough and Kenneth Epperson (Rachel); and his children, Murray Mewhorter II, Dina Mewhorter and Tina Dilworth.
