He is survived by: his parents, Robert Goodwin and Pauline Goodwin; his wife Becky Elliot Goodwin; his son Danny Howald (Jessica); his grandson Brody Howald; and also, Bob Goodwin (Brenda), Bill Goodwin, Donna Morris (Don), Karen Beadle (Jim), Ellen Goodwin, Ruth Decker, Bone, Phillip Elliott-Shirley (Maryann), Richard Elliott, Nancy Jones, Susan McLaughlin (Don), Debbie Shepherd (Greg), Sharon Terry (Bruce), Russell Elliott (Patty), Sherri Brown (Lance), Sandy Peak (Todd) and Joni Sharp (Kenney). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
