He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Gottman and Genevieve Hagaman Gottman; his brother-in-law Dean Sutton; and his great grandchild Kristoph Gottman. He is survived by: his former wife Judith Kay Harris; his wife Judy Gottman; his sons, Melvin Andrew Gottman, Jr. (Mary) of Palmyra, MO, Donald Gottman of Hannibal, MO and Keith Gottman of Hannibal, MO; his siblings, Wayne Gottman (Kaye), Miriam Savidge and Elizabeth Sutton; his grandsons, Andrew (Ashley) and Luke Gottman; his great grandchild Isabella Gottman; and also, Angela Gottman, Andrew Oberhellman (Relinda), Mindy Sims (Rubin), Mary Gottman, Barbara Booth, Allison, Brandon, James Gottman and Tammy Gottman.
