It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Regina Sternke (Palmyra, Missouri), born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence M. Whalen and Bertha Regina "Jean" Whalen; her grandson Christopher Witt; and her brother Maurice Mangin. She is survived by: her children, Monte Sternke (Lisa) of Charleston, SC, Marla Sparks (Michael) of Palmyra, MO, Marietta Coufal of Champaign, IL and Minette Sternke of Champaign, IL; her grandchildren, Devron Sternke (Amy), Randy Sternke (Jean), Zach Sparks, Nathaniel Witt (Emily), Erin Reed (Shane), Seth Sparks and Steffan Bassett; her great grandchildren, Atticus, Scarlett, Elliot, Oliver, Theodore, Cassandra, Caleigh, Christopher, Aiden, Mackenzie, Jason, Emily, Shaun and Payton; and her spouse Myrl Brandt Sternke.
