It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Pointer (Palmyra, Missouri), born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Buckner and Laura Mary Howard Burbridge; and her siblings, Brenda Humphrey, Terry Buckner and Larry Buckner.

She is survived by: her friend John; and her sister-in-law Ingrid Buckner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Park Chapel Baptist Church in Palmyra, MO.
