Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Marie Rothweiler of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Saint Charles, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 86, on May 14, 2023. She was predeceased by: her husband B. J. Rothweiler; her son Steve Clayton; her sister Patricia White Bross; and her stepgrandson Garet Slavin. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Clayton Gottman (Steve), Christine Rothweiler Hudson and John Clayton (Kathy); her grandchildren, Amy Gottman Bue, Steve Gottman, Ashley Friese, Sarah English, Johnny Clayton, Josh Clayton Joe Clayton, Zeth Hudson and Clayton Hudson; her daughter-in-law Denise Silver Clayton; her sibling Jean Miller (John); and her stepchildren, Drexel Rothweiler, Alice Rothweiler Snow and Holly Rothweiler Slavin. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in remembrance of Joan to the Marion County Public Library Sub-district 1.
