It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Raymond Lovelace of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lovelace and Ethelyn Young Lovelace; and his brother Lloyd Lovelace. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jean Akright Davis; his children, John D. Lovelace of New London, MO, Jeffrey D. Lovelace of Hannibal, MO and Jill D. Phillips (Roger) of Palmyra, MO; his stepchildren, John L. Muehring, Jr. (Jenny) of New London, Cory L. Muehring (Linda) of New London, Shawn M. O'Brien (Tim) of Palmyra and Jennifer A. Siebers (Gary) of Payson, IL; and his grandchildren, Trevor Chandler, Jaelyn Chandler, Jake Lovelace, Josh Lovelace, Heather Semkin, Levi Muehring, Kelsey Myers, Tanner O'Brien, Jeorgia O'Brien, Kylie Moss, Cortney Muehring, Waylon Muehring, Wyatt Siebers, Gus Siebers, Devon Muehring and Dane Lovelace.

Friends and family are invited to Jim's graveside services The family suggest memorials be made to the Bethel Baptist Church.
