He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Latimer and Edith Seggermann Latimer; his father-in-law Dr. Eugene Hinds; and his brother-in-law Eugene Hinds II (Wayne Kuntemeyer). He is survived by: his wife Harriet Latimer of Palmyra, MO; his mother-in-law June Hinds; his children, Erika Latimer Kendrick (Casey), Whitney Latimer (Gavin Kerr), Audra Bross (Tim), Elizabeth "Libby" Evans, Dr. Laura Akerson and Marshall Whitaker (Kara); his siblings, Ingrid Hathaway (Harold), Patsy Mette (Keith) and Hugo Hoderlein; his close friend Rodney Kuntemeyer (Ginny); his grandchildren, Haley, Paige Higgins, Owen, Clara Bross, Marshall Jr., Kasmir Whitaker, Taylor, Levi Vance, Ashlyn and Ruby Akerson; and his great grandchildren, Piper Higgins, Declan Creasy and Layne Goode.
