He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Drebes and Gladys Yager Drebes; his wife Gloria Drebes; and his siblings, Oneta Crane, Glenna Rigney, Marion Gard, Emmitt Drebes, Lewis Drebes and Herb Drebes.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Drebes (Lis) of Champagne, IL, Julie Ives (Rich) of Jefferson City, MO, Tracy Graupman (Kris) of Palmyra, MO and Joni Silver (Greg Jones) of Palmyra, MO; his siblings, Walter Drebes (Delores) of Palmyra, MO and Jane Cozad of Clarenda, IA; his grandchildren, Kassie Taylor (Greg), Nikki Cory (Tucker), Samantha Irwin (Levi), Hilary Kelly (Darin), Darrell Silver II (Nicole), Millie Silver, Lacey Carey (Zach), Mariah Bocketti (Brad) and Colten Drebes; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Taylor, Kaden Taylor, Bryden Doyle, Navy Cory, Brynlee Carey, Collins Carey, Quinn Carey, Brooks Silver, Adeline Silver, Adelaide Irwin, Jona Kelly and Hudson Bocketti. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
