With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L. Potterfield of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Shellsburg, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Renth and Alverda Jane Moore Johnston; her husband Henry George Potterfield; her daughter Mary Frances Schaller; her son-in-law Ronnie Schaller; her grandchildren, Stephen Lugena, Timothy Lugena, Tony Schaller and Angela Schaller; her great grandchildren, Greg and Andy Peterman; and her sisters, Vida Owsley, Thelma Mangin and Lois Grey Potterfield.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Louise Smith of Renselaer, MO, William Henry Potterfield "Bill" (Dimple) of Palmyra, Carolyn Sue Bremmer and John Curtis Potterfield (Debbie) of Palmyra; her sister Mary Lou Totsch of Palmyra, MO; and her grandchildren, Cheryl Greenwood (Jerry), Brent Lugena (Becky), Kevin Lugena, Dana Scott Lugena (Melissa), William J. Potterfield, Lanette Peterman (Mark), Beth Corum (Randy), Doug Potterfield Wendy Nelson (Ava) and Quent Bremmer (Tena). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and extended family.
