He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Stone and Lela M. Phillips Stone; and his sisters, Dorothy Hettinger and Cleo Binkley. He is survived by: his wife Laverna Stone; his children, Laura Ann Rathke (Michael) of Cobolo, TX and Michael W. Stone (Rachelle) of San Antonio; and his grandchildren, Alexis Greene (Sam), Emma Rathke, Rowan Dille, Quinn Stone, Bennett Dille and Dorigen Stone.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
