Carroll M. Ragar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll M. Ragar of Palmyra, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Russell and Emma Margaret Daume Ragar; his sisters, Mary Margaret Tuley, Doris Feaster and Nadine Tuley; his great grandchild Hawk Dean Doyle; and his brother Christian Daume Ragar.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Saffarrans; his children, Brooks Ragar of Palmyra, MO, Robin Ragar Colgrove (Mace) of Kinderhook, IL and Carrie Ragar McKinney (Brian) of Palmyra, MO; his siblings, Jim Ragar (Betty) of Gravois Mills, MO, John Ragar (Peggy) of Palmyra, MO and Sarah Baxter of Palmyra, MO; his grandchildren, Colt Doyle Catie (Emilee), Case Doyle (Lauren), Casch Doyle, Ragar McKinney, Rylie McKinney (Brandon), Ryan McKinney and Renzie McKinney; his great grandchildren, Oaklee Jo Doyle, Bodie Dancer and Pax Joy Dancer; his close friends, Howard Disselhorst, Chester Bross, Brock Decker, Bob Ravenscraft, Brad McPike and Carroll; his son-in-law Monty Doyle; and his pets, Wilbur and Maverick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or Jackson Park Golf Course.
