He is survived by: his parents, Billy Ray Coons Sr. and Susan Walotka Coons; his spouse Jae Shanks; his children, Cassie Coons of Center, MO, Levi Coons (Whitney) of Monroe City, MO, Krissy Rathbone (Alex) of Palmyra, MO and Dakota Coons (Adrian Miller) of Palmyra, MO; his sister Julie Coons Hedges (Jay) of Kearney, MO; his grandchildren, Bo Long, Lainna Wilson, Lakelynn Rathbone, Hazel Rathbone and Addilynn Rathbone; and his nephews, Ethan and Heath Hedges. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
