He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo F. Hirner and Mary Ann Kroeger Hirner; his brothers, Simon, Michael, Edward and Bartholomew; his siblings-in-law, Leo Ray Foster, Donald L. Krekemeyer and Linda Hirner; and his nephew James M. Hirner.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly Jagger; his children, Gabrielle, George Hirner, Simon Hirner (Melissa) and Josh Jagger (Adam); his grandchildren, Avery Hirner, Cooper Hirner, Christina Hirner, Carly Knapp, Ayden Hirner and Lilian Westbrook; his siblings, Leo Hirner, Mark Hirner, Joseph Hirner (Barb), Patricia Foster and Mary Krekemeyer; his siblings-in-law, Ester Quick (Wendell), Cheryl Hirner, John Jagger and Angie Sante (Tom); and his close friends, Steve, Sheila Byrne, George, Vicki Poertner, Dave, Ruthie Redman and Bob Sparks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
