It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Margaret Veit of Palmyra, Missouri, born in Elston, Missouri, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn H. Schenewerk and Helen Mary Dulle Schenewerk; her husband James Samuel Veit; her son Samuel Veit; and her siblings, Laverne Schulte, Jean Schmutzler, Dorothy Woods, Mary Lou Stegeman and Charles Schenewerk.
She is survived by: her daughter Leann Peden (Craig); her granddaughter Claire Peden of Grapevine, TX; her sisters, Rita Rustemeyer of Centertown, MO and Kaye Meller (Ken) of Lohman, MO; and her sister-in-law Lillian Veit of Wardsville, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family has requested that people who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Quincy Cursillo, National Multiple Sclerosis Society or donor's choice.
