It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William F. Rentfro of Ozark, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William F. Rentfro to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rentfro and Eula Rentfro; and his wife Gloria Rentfro. He is survived by: his children, Bob (Linda Rentfro) and Carole (Mike Reed); his grandchildren, Shaun Rentfro, Katie Liestman (Greg) and Ellie Reed; his great grandchild Riley Rentfro; his sister Margaret Hoelscher; and his sister-in-law Sharon Hankins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (525 South Ave, Springfield, MO 65806). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
He started the Special Education Department at First Baptist and was the first recipient of the Arc of the Ozarks Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award for his service to the special needs community.
