He was predeceased by: his parent Euric. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Vance (Rogers); his sons, Brad Vance (Deana) of San Antonio, Texas, Mike Vance of Ozark and Darren Vance (Melinda) of San Diego, California; his brothers, Jack Vance of St. Charles, Bill Vance of Truxton, Jerry Vance of Lancaster and Mike Vance (Eunice) of Billings, Montana; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Brandon, Brittany, Zach, Bailey and Grace. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barnes Family Funeral Home (1700 S 15th Ave, Ozark, MO 65721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
