He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Smith and Allene "Cotton" Smith; and his niece Beth St. John. He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his sister Renee St. John; his nieces, Jill Coffer (Troy) of Sparta, Amy Sappington (Kent) of Ozark and Jeri McCoy (Jeff) of Ozark; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lance Patrick, Caleb Sappington, Olivia Sappington, Kendall McCoy, Parker McCoy and Maela Coffer; and his brother-in-law Mitchell Allred (Charlene) of Callahan, Florida. He is also survived by cousins, other family members, and many friends.
