He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Workman and Zola Workman (Hughes); his children, Kelle Ann Workman and James Matthew Workman; and his brother Wilbur Workman.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Swearengin; his children, Marc Workman (Pauline) and Pam Workman (Tim Chainey); his grandchildren, Stephen Clayton, Audrey Stafford, Ashlee Clayton, Richard Stevens (Robyne), Corey Finnern and Shelli Jo Hancock; his great grandchildren, Kenlee Helms, Gracie Emmons, Paislie James Clayton, Beckett Hancock and Mary Jane Stevens; and his brothers, Morris Workman (Betty) and Marlin Workman (Judy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other caring relatives.
Donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association 1630 W. Elfindale Street, Springfield, Missouri or The Dogwood Cemetery.
