He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gentry and Ola Gentry; and his son Tony Ray Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Alene Gentry; his daughters, Lola Bridges (Dale), Linda Shipley (Randy), Lori Denton (Scott) and Kim Cotter (Kelly); and his siblings-in-law, Doug Tackett (Leslie), Johnny Tackett, Marie Dober and Shirley Jean Durden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
