He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Pelt (Tink) and Mildred Van Pelt; and his wife Janice Van Pelt. He is survived by: his son Dr. David Van Pelt (Emily) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his grandchildren, Abby Addleman of Chicago, IL and Daniel Addleman of Cape Girardeau, MO.; his brother Randy Van Pelt (Sandy) of Salisbury, Missouri; and his nieces, Candy Stallo (Steve) and Brandy Brown (Michael). He is also survived by two great nephews, and a great niece.
