He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Jones and Rosie Jones; his sisters, Barbara Launstein and Wanda Sue Castleman; his half-brother John Jones; and his son Brian Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Jones; his sister Judy Hord; his children, Terri Applegate (Bill) and Jeffrey Jones (Ashley); his grandchildren, Cory Jones, Joshua Jones, Billy Joe Applegate Jr. (B. J.), Danielle Applegate, Jessica Grimes, Faith Waters, Savannah Steever, Ryder and Addyson Jones; his great grandchildren, Riley, Lilly Jones, Kipton Case, Olivia and Hailey Wilder; and his friends, Brenda Chapman, Lucille Gideon, Tom, Jolene Huff, Joyce Kyle and Jan Markle. He is also survived by three beautiful children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
