She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Bradford and Cleo Bradford; her husband Everett Barker; her siblings, Earl Bradford, Blanch Harris and Velta Waldrep; and her stepdaughters, Charlotte Hopkins and Janice Troutt.

She is survived by: her siblings, Eva Scott, Lela Faye Martin and Ted Bradford; and her daughters, Rita Fortner (Roger), Freda Roussell, Kaye Dowdle and Phyllis Barker.
