He was predeceased by: his mother Kathryn Golden Sims. He is survived by: his wife Theresia Akers; his daughters, Angela Randall (Robert) and Lucinda Akers; his brother Reggie Gamblin; and his grandchildren, Chance Randall, Austin Holtzclaw, Ashlyne Vlietstra, Hunter Randall, Tanner Randall, Addisson Holtzclaw, Autumn Hamilton and Amy Minnick. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home (4500 S Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
