He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenvil Greenberry and Ida Harriet Melton (Meadows); his wife Judy Ann Adams; his siblings, Maggie Louise Jones (Richard), Dorothy Braden (John) and Richard Lee Melton (Sandy); his sister-in-law Dolly Melton; and his granddaughters, Amber and Misty Melton.
He is survived by: his brother Orville Glen "Moe" Melton of Springfield; and his children, Beverly Marshall (Steve) of Ozark, Delburt Melton (Missy) of Crane, Jerry David Melton (Jeanette) of Ozark and Billy Melton (Robbin) of Ozark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.
