He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Fausett Hembree and Dewey Hembree; his son Stephen Don Hembree; and his brother Paul Eugene Hembree. He is survived by: his son Jared Allen Hembree (Michelle); his wife Sharon Wolfe Hembree; his son Jeff Hembree (Autumn); his grandchildren, Cameron Xander Hembree, Skylar Stephen Hembree and Kaleigh Marie Hembree; and his sister-in-law Barbara "Bobby" Owens Hembree. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Don's name to American Cancer Society, Least of These Christian County Food Pantry, or Newborns in Need.
