He is survived by: his wife Janet Sorenson; his children, Erin Cummings (Troy) of Kansas City, Missouri, Elizabeth Ouellette (Brian) of Ozark Missouri, Brian Sorenson (Heather) of Warrenton Missouri, Matthew Sorenson (Jessica) of Murray Utah, Nathan Sorenson (Elizabeth) of Foristell, Missouri, Meghan Nelson (Craig) of Seattle, Washington and Emilie Garner (Nathan) of Lehi, Utah.; his great grandchildren, Brandon Sorenson, Kelsen, Joshua, Lucas, Rylan Cummins, Braiden, Ellie, Mason, Audra, Seth Orme, Ashlyn Kettler-Orme, Elora, William Ouellette, Trey Dunn, Natalie, Arlan, Dean, Baby Girl, Everett, Adalaide, Emmeline Sorenson, Olivia Sorenson, Isabel, Sophie, Grace Nelson, Cassie Garner, Liam Garner and Leona Orme; and his siblings, Wendel Sorenson (Cheryl) of Texas, Jerry Sorenson (Debbie), Tim Sorenson (Michelle), Cara Dukes and Chris Sorenson (Jennifer) of Illinois.
While valiantly battling complications from the Covid-19 virus, he had a severe, adverse reaction to a blood thinner, which caused him to have a massive, bilateral stroke.
