He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee "Connie" and Evelyn Bernice Shelton (Wisner); and his sister Shirley Melton. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Kirby; his children, Michael Shawn Shelton, Leanne Kathleen Shelton, Evelyn Eileen Shelton (Natalie), Seth Ephraim Shelton (Amy) and Simeon Joshua Shelton (Bobbie Jo); his grandchildren, Cameron (Kayla), Triston, Olivia, Sarah, James and Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Gavin and Grayson.
The family requests memorial donations to Haven Home Health and Hospice, who took such good care of Connie during his illness.
