She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Johnston and Essie Johnston (Bledsoe); her son Thomas; her daughter-in-law Mary Moore; and her siblings, Harold and Kathryn.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah, Michael Mills of Nixa, Marilyn and Brad Simpson of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Kevin Moore, Lorna, Samantha Vaughn, Matt, Scott Moore, Gretchen, Jeffrey Mills, Kelly, Andrew Mills, Kristen, Whitney Simpson, Shane Simpson, Brittany, Jacob Simpson, Jaclyn Miner and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Isaac, Wyatt, Madilyn, Megan, Abigail, Ben, Lucy, Jackson, Allison, Alexis and Jack. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
