With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Etta Jones of Ozark, Missouri, born in Highlandville, Missouri, who passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Franklin and Lena Mae Rice (Essick); her grandsons, Hunter and Jason; her son-in-law Tim Smith; and her siblings, James Rice, Robert Rice, Junior Rice and Imogene Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Duckworth (Marvin) of Ozark, Vicky Jones of Texas, Cheryl Smith of Ozark and Jimmy Jones, Jr. (Pam) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Randy, Shannon, Karessa, Cody, Trevor, Levi, Savannah, Ethan and Hope; her great grandchildren, Jailynn, Jackson, Lilliana, Titan, Adeline and Eden; and her brother Jerry Rice (Cindy) of Ozark. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
