He is survived by his mother Brenda S. Maynard (Harkins) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and his father Adrian Harness of Camdenton, MO, as well as his maternal grandparents, David and Roberta Harkins of Coffeyville, KS and paternal grandparents Ron and Doris Harness of Mo. Ty leaves behind his beloved pup Heidi, just 8 months old.
Tyler was a 2015 graduate of Pittsburgh high school in Pittsburg, KS. He participated in Skills USA his senior year and was named the top High School carpenter in KS. He earned a chance to compete at nationals for the title of best carpenter in the country. Tyler also enjoyed fast cars, hunting, computer gaming, and MMA.
Tyler worked as a service technician for Top Hat Plumbing. Prior to moving to MO, Tyler lived in Florida near his Mom. He made his home with his girlfriend Hannah Brock and son Skye. While in Florida, Tyler worked in construction as well as served as a Corrections Officer. Tyler had previously worked within the plumbing and construction field in Wyoming, North Dakota, Colorado, and Idaho.
