With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry W. Baugus of Oxly, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Baugus and Edna Baugus. He is survived by: his wife Lana Baugus; his children, Marshall Baugus (Cheryl) of Poplar Bluff, Darryl Baugus of Poplar Bluff and Bradlee Baugus of Scott City; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb, Breanna, Alissa and Destiny. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home (16984 Old Hwy 67, Neelyville, MO 63954). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Fowler & Sons Funeral Home (16984 Old Hwy 67, Neelyville, MO 63954).

“My heart goes out to Lana, Marshall, Darryl, and Bradlee. Jerry will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He never met a stranger and was truly a man of God. Jerry was a hard working man always thinking of ways to provide for his family even after his accident at an early age he never gave up. Someone to admire for doing his best as he was taught to do. Jerry was known for selling produce of all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Keep your faith in God. He is always by your side to talk to”
