Virgie Lena Scholten Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024, at the age of 89, Virgie Lena Scholten of Owensville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Fritz and Emma Fritz (Carroll); her husband Robert; and her siblings, Jimmy Fritz, Lillie Hoffman, Marie Schmiedeskamp, Janie Koch and Evelyn Shoemaker.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Ryerson (Don) of Owensville; her sister Jenny Shoemaker of Union; her grandchildren, Jason Ryerson (Heather) of St. Clair, Adam Ryerson (Janna) of Gerald and Kelsey Hinch (Nick) of Linn; her great grandchildren, Brylee, Jerren, Evan, Levi and Emma; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Scholten (Mary) of O'Fallon, Vernon Scholten of Owensville, Rosemary Siedner of Gerald and Ginny LaBoube (Calvin) of Fenton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Owensville Date (112 W Lincoln Ave # 28, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
