He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Hunt and Robbie James Dotson (Deweese); his daughter Jill Ann Dotson; his brother Donald Dotson; and his sister-in-law Doris Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann; his children, Jane Peanick (Gary) of Owensville and Tom Dotson (Becky) of Belle; his brother Bob Dotson (Joyce) of Belle; his grandchildren, Chad Peanick (Heather Czeschin) of Owensville, Trisha Mistler (Patrick) of Jefferson City, Cody Peanick (Julie) of Owensville, Colt Peanick (Charlie) of Owensville, Trisha Rehagen (Jim) of Freeburg, Nathan Dotson of St. Louis and Josh Dotson of Fort Worth, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Oliver Mistler, Coen, Caden, Caleb Peanick, Conner Rehagen (Claire), Paige and Chase Rehagen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's United Church of Christ - Bem Date (1944 Bem Church Rd, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are requested for the St. John's Bem Cemetery Fund.
