He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vector and Eunice Smith (Newbound); his wife Audrey Maxine Pogue; his son-in-law Dustin Dorenkamp; his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Treece, Nancy Nowack, Glenda Buhr and Douglas Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Jeff and Ranzo Nowack.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Dorenkamp of Ellisville; his stepchildren, Jennifer Horstmann (Don Tobias) of San Diego, Calif. and John Pope (Jayne) of Washington; his siblings, Mary Jane Jett of St. Louis and Roger Smith of Albany, Ind.; and his grandchildren, Dylan and Ryan Dorenkamp. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
