She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lipskoch and Lydia Lipskoch (Leimkuehler); her husband Erwin W. Ruegge; her siblings, Walter, Harvey, Virgil Lipskoch, Emma Carey and Myrtle Miller; and her grandson Andrew Varner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene Johnson (Charlie) of Nixa and Janet Varner (David) of Ballwin; her grandchildren, Dustin Pearson (Alex), James Varner, Juliana Varner and Emily Mesnier (Josh); and her sister Ruth Stanfield.
