She was predeceased by: her parents, George Austermann and Pearl Austermann (Milliner); her husband Edward; her siblings, Alfred, Milford (Leroy Austermann), Wilson (Virgil McDaniel) and Buelah Timmerberg; and her granddaughter-in-law Madison Portell.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Portell (Debra) of Columbia, Pat Crombie (Charles) of Owensville, Katie Roberson (Jim) of Vienna and Sue Ann Pohlmann (Larry) of Union. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren.
